About Counseling
Henri Nouwen said, "You so much want to heal yourself, fight your temptations, and stay in control. But you cannot do it yourself. So stop wandering around. Come home and trust that God will bring you what you need. Home is where you are truly safe. When you come home and stay home, you will find the love that will bring rest to your heart."

I work to help men and women engage and know their story and find themselves in the story of God through the wisdom of Scripture. And ultimately, so that they can experience redemption and hope through the gospel of Jesus. I seek to help people understand how their past informs their present so they can bring their whole selves to God and recover what parts of their life feel lost. As we engage your story, we will engage with God so that you can move into this future with faith, hope, and love.
I believe that every person is created in the image of God and made to flourish in community with God and others. Biblical soul care acknowledges the complexity of each person’s needs, and the interrelated nature of a person’s body, mind, emotions, and soul.
In addition to my private practice, I currently counsel in partnership with BetterDays and Courage Christian Counseling. Sessions are $125 for a 60 minute session and $180 for a 90 minute session, and can take place in person, or via Telehealth. Unfortunately I do not accept insurance at this time.

What Is A Session like
A typical session is 50-60 minutes and costs $125. In these sessions we will discuss the current challenges you are facing, dive into your story, and look to the Scriptures to provide wisdom and help. Typically, reading, journaling, or other work is given to complete between sessions in order to supplement the work done in session and often serves to begin the conversation at the following session. One hour a week with a counselor never feels like enough time and these assignments provide continued opportunities to engage the content of a session during the week. Sessions are held either in person in North Dallas or virtually via Telehealth video.Currently
